30th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke to three patients who used the service and they all said they were satisfied with the treatment and service received. They were complimentary about the professionalism and sensitivity of the dentist. They said, "Staff always talk to you, he always listens and explains things to you", "I have to say it's a very friendly practice" and "I've already recommended family and friends to this practice."

Patients told us they were made aware of the dental problem, the treatment options available to them and the cost. Patients were given information about better oral hygiene care and how to manage their oral care after treatment. One person said "they always give information post treatment and I've never had to use the emergency service."

Patients told us the practice was always clean and staff wore protective clothing during treatment. They said, "during treatment or checks they always put on the gloves and wore masks" and "very surgically clean, professional and they always have on uniforms, wear

gloves and masks." One patient said "I see them take out a new tray of instruments when I arrive so it gives me confidence that the place is clean" and "it's always clean when I've been."
