26th September 2017 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

This inspection was a desk-based focussed inspection carried out on 26 September 2017. The purpose of the inspection was to confirm that the service provider, G4S Forensic and Medical Services (UK) Limited had carried out their plan to meet the legal requirements in relation to the breaches in regulations that we identified in our previous inspection on the 30 November 2016.

We found the provider had made the required improvements since our last inspection and was meeting the regulations that had previously been breached.

Our key findings were as follows:

  • Effective governance systems were in place and these were used to monitor the delivery and quality of the service.

  • Patient involvement in care planning had significantly improved and following training, staff were completing patient care plans.
