7th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People told us that they were very happy with the care and treatment that they received from dentists and nurses at Ice White Dental. People said they had no complaints or concerns, that staff treated them well and that treatments were always explained to them in a way that they could understand.

Patient files we looked at were very detailed in respect of the dental assessments and treatments offered to patients and showed us that all treatments and options were discussed with patients so that they could make informed decisions about their treatment.

Staff were trained and skilled to carry out their work and to protect people from the risk of abuse.

The practice was clean and there were robust systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infections.

The practice had systems in place to obtain and act on the views and experiences of people who used the service and there were arrangements in place to regularly assess, monitor and improve the service.
