25th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We observed that this is a very busy dental practice but many patients had been coming for many years and they were very happy with the standard of care received. Patients told us that the options were clearly explained and they were fully aware of all the costs involved and were given written treatment plans.

The staff all told us that there was a very good working atmosphere reflected in the low staff turnover. They all felt well supported in their professional development.

We observed the decontamination procedures carried out by the nurses and saw evidence of training in this area. The staff demonstrated good knowledge of decontamination procedures.

We were able to look at patient records that were securely stored and saw that they were a true reflection of treatment given.

We observed the staff treat patients with respect and dignity.
