18th November 2013 - During a routine inspection
During our announced inspection on 18 November 2013 we spoke to one of the two dentists working that day, the senior dental nurse, two other members of staff and two people who used the service. Staff we spoke to told us that they knew about data protection and confidentiality and we were shown training records which evidenced formal training on the subjects. People told us they were treated well at this practice and they were happy with the service provided. One person we spoke to said; "He is a great dentist, always very polite and I can always get an appointment at short notice.” People told us that the practice was always clean when they attended. They told us that staff always wore gloves and other protective equipment when they were being treated. Staff told us they enjoyed working at the practice, one nurse told us; “I love it here, it’s absolutely fantastic.” People we spoke to were confident they could make a complaint if they needed to.
