1st January 1970 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

This practice had five treatment rooms. It employed one dentist who shares seven nurses, three patient care/reception staff and a manager with another practice.

During our inspection we spoke with two nurses and the manager. We looked at the records for five people using the dental practice and two staff files. We later spoke with ten people about their experiences.

People told us that they were happy with the service that had been provided and the treatment they had received. One person told us, "My dentist is exceptional. He has been helpful as I have some long term health problems too.”

People told us and we saw that staff were helpful and polite and treated people with dignity and respect.

We found that people received the care and treatment they needed. All people spoken with told us that their treatment and options were always discussed with them. One person said, "The dentist explains everything. I know what he is going to do and thats what I get.”

We found that people received care and treatment in a clean and hygienic environment. People made positive remarks about the hygiene such as, β€œIt is very clean. I have no worries at all.”

People that we spoke with were complimentary about the staff working there. We found that staff were trained and supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.

We found that the provider had systems in place to monitor the service to ensure that people receive a quality service.
