23rd May 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Kennington Dental Practice is a small practice which consists of a dentist, a dental nurse, and a receptionist. During our visit we spoke with all of the staff. We also spoke with three people who used the service during our visit.

All of the people we spoke with said that they were happy with the service they received. One person told us "I am very happy with the service, I’ve been coming here for years”.

We found people's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. People's privacy was respected and they experienced care, treatment and support which met their needs and protected their rights.

People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.

People were cared for by staff that were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. Staff told us that they were happy with the practice and enjoyed working there.

The provider had an effective system in place to address any complaints that were received.
