We spoke with two people (patients) using the service in private and both were complimentary about the service provided. The practice’s own patient satisfaction survey also showed a number of positive comments and high quality scores.

There was a range of appropriate patient information leaflets detailing treatment options which were available in the waiting areas for people to read whilst waiting or to take home with them. These included information on the prevention of tooth decay, how to make a complaint, data protection, smoking cessation and a practice information guide.

One patient told us; “The practice is always clean and tidy", and "You get a fantastic service, very friendly staff.”

Another patient told us “My dentist knows me and knows how I feel about coming to the dentist, and always tries to make me less anxious.”

We found that patients were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed and they were treated in a clean, hygienic environment.
