We spoke with two dentists, four staff and five patients. Patients told us they had been happy with the service provided. One patient’s comments were, '' There is nothing they can do better. My family attend this dentist. The staff are very considerate.’’ We found that patient satisfaction was good. Patients told us they found the staff approachable and would approach them with any concerns.

We found effective communication and referral pathways existed between the practice and other healthcare professionals. Patients told us that their dentist had supported them in making treatment choices and that they had been kept fully involved and informed whilst undergoing treatment. We saw that patients had been involved in making decisions about their care and treatment.

We saw that the practice had systems in place to protect patients against the risks of receiving care or treatment that was inappropriate or unsafe. We have asked that the provider consider our findings in relation to the storage of resuscitation drugs at the practice.

Patients and staff told us there had been sufficient staff to accommodate patients' needs. The patients we spoke with told us that staff were ‘skilled and approachable’.

We saw that patients’ records were complete. We have asked that the provider consider our findings in relation to the storage of patients’ paper records.
