17th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People using the service told us they were satisfied with the way the practice was run and the services provided. Patients told us their treatment options, the cost of treatment and any risks attached were explained to them. People’s comments included “the dentist always takes time to explain my treatment, there’s never any rush” and “they are very patient. They take time to explain everything, including the cost. There are never any surprises.”

People also told us they were treated with dignity and respect by staff. They said the practice was kept clean and tidy and staff observed their right to privacy.

We saw that there were enough qualified staff who treated people in a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable way. There were effective infection control and quality assurance systems in place.
