17th December 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with five people to find out their opinions of the service they received. One person said, “I’ve been really happy with all the treatment I’ve had, I’ve been going for years.” Another person said, “We have no worries, we are very happy and really would recommend them, all the dentists are lovely.”

People told us they were involved in planning their treatment and they were given information and possible treatment options. One person said, “You are as involved as you want to be, I’ve been going for years so I trust them completely but they still offer to talk me through everything and check I’m happy.”

We found that care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people’s safety and welfare.

We saw that the provider had a safeguarding policy in place which detailed the actions to be taken should staff have concerns about care or witness a safeguarding incident.

Appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work.

We confirmed the provider had a detailed and effective quality monitoring process in place.
