13th February 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our visit we received feedback from six patients about the service they received at this dentist. We were told that the staff were “Professional and friendly” and “Welcoming and easy to talk to”. Patients also confirmed that they received both verbal and written information about any treatment they may require.

One person told us; “I struggle with English, however there are a number of staff who can speak my language”. They also said that any procedures were explained “Every step of the way” and they had been shown the procedure using dental software.

Patients told us; “The surgery is always very clean” and “The environment is spotless”. They also confirmed that they saw staff wearing protective clothing such as aprons, masks and gloves and regularly washed their hands. One patient old us they were “provided with glasses and an apron” when receiving treatment.

When asked about complaints or concerns, patients commented; “Don’t have any!” and “I’ve never felt the need to”. All six patients who provided feedback confirmed they knew what to do and who to speak with if they had any concerns.
