Patients we spoke with expressed their satisfaction with the services provided at LOC @ The Christie. Comments made included:

“The support I have received has been excellent. I have been fully consulted throughout the whole treatment process. This has enabled me to make my own decisions about my treatment.”

“I am more than happy with the way I have been treated. You are provided with lots of understandable information and encouraged to ask questions before agreeing to treatment. The staff are polite, respectful and very knowledgeable.”

“The treatment I have received has been first class. The staff are very caring and always discuss my treatment plan with me.”

“The care and treatment I have had is exceptional. Sometimes I have not been very well during my treatment. The staff come into their own then. Nothing is too much trouble.”

Staff we spoke with told us that staffing provision was meeting the needs of patients appropriately. They also said that they were appropriately supported and supervised by the practice manager and that their views about the running of the service were sought and valued.

We found that patients were being treated in a suitable environment by adequate numbers of appropriately trained staff. A suitable system to monitor the quality of the services provided was being operated.
