13th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

One person told us, “They ask for consent and explain everything.” Records showed that consent was obtained from people and their wishes were respected.

One person we spoke with said, “They are marvellous here.” Records showed that people received consistent care.

Systems were in place that ensured risks around infection were appropriately assessed and managed.

Appropriate checks had taken place to ensure that staff were suitable to work with children and vulnerable adults. One person said, “Staff are friendly and helpful.”

All the people we spoke with were complimentary about the service. People we spoke with knew how they could complain. One person said, “I know how to complain if I needed to.”
