5th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our inspection of this service we were able to talk with three people who used the service who told us that they were satisfied with the service provided. We also reviewed comments in a patient satisfaction survey undertaken by the practice in March 2013.

People's comments about the practice included:

"I find the staff very nice and they are helpful."

"The practice is alright."

"Really friendly dentist, felt at ease."

"Always feel comfortable and everything explained fully- top notch."

We found that the service followed best practice in gaining people's consent to treatment, providing choices, delivery of treatment and hygiene standards.

Staff we spoke with told us that they enjoyed working at the practice and felt supported by the principal dentist and the practice manager.

We saw that the practice was also a member of the British Dental association's (BDA) good practice scheme.
