12th July 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

During our previous inspection on 20/02/2013 we found that there was no documented evidence of risk assessments or policies and procedures to identify, assess and manage risks relating to the health, welfare and safety of people who used the service and others who may be at risk. The provider told us they would address these issues by 30/06/2013.

The provider has implemented policies to deal with health and safety, infection control and complaints. Audits were undertaken to ensure standards were being continually met. These audits were in cleaning, radiographs (x-rays) and infection control. The provider had displayed emergency contact details and emergency exit signs.

Daily checks of equipment were recorded appropriately.

We spoke to a patient using a service who told us that they felt safe using the service.
