25th June 2014 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

The practice was inspected by the Care Quality Commission in January 2013. We found that improvements were required with regard to the management of infection control.

Following the inspection the provider wrote to us and, in a detailed action plan, described the arrangements that would be put in to place to achieve compliance. We visited the practice on the 25th June 2014 and we found that the provider had made all the necessary improvements to become compliant within this area.

25th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke to four patients who were complimentary about the practice. They felt that they were treated with respect and dignity. They told us that they were informed about the choices, costs, alternatives and possible outcomes of their treatment.

Overall they felt they received a good service and they trusted the clinicians. They felt the dentists were very informative about their treatment. One patient told us "My dentist is brilliant" and another said "They are great".

We found the practice was friendly, welcoming and informative. We saw that patients were listened to in all areas of the practice. One patient said "I always feel I can ask anything, whenever I want". The surgery was clean throughout and we found the practice well managed. We also found that planning was taking place to upgrade the practice where required.
