We spoke with three people who used the service. They told us they had been happy with the service they had received. One person said, “I wouldn’t come if I wasn’t happy. I feel very, very confident in the skills of the staff.” Another person told us, “It is fantastic here. I have come here for years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.”

People told us that their treatment options had been clearly explained to them. One person said, “They (staff) are very caring, understanding and thoughtful. They know everything about me and my family’s dental needs.”

Those people spoken with told us they were very happy with the levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the practice. One person told us, “Yes, everything is always spotless and hygienic. You are asked to wear protective things like goggles and a bib. The staff are always protected as well. That gives you confidence in the standard of cleanliness in the practice.”

We found that Mossley Dental Care provided people with lots of appropriate information about the practice and lots of support during their treatment. Treatment was provided in a way that maintained people's privacy and dignity at all times.

During our conversations with the staff we found that some important pre-employment checks had not been carried out. This was due to different information being shared with the provider and you can read about this in the relevant outcome section of this report.
