22nd August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with one person using the service and four members of staff.

People told us clear explanations were provided about treatment options available and their costs. The person we spoke with said “they are always very polite, my dentist explained the costs both NHS and private and described the treatment options and their outcomes”.

Comments from the patient satisfaction survey included “thoughtful as I am disabled and was able to see a dentist downstairs.” and “I think it is a good and professional dental practice”.

Effective systems were in place to manage infection control and prevention.

There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people’s needs effectively and staff told us that there were always enough staff on duty.

There was an effective complaints management system in place.
