27th February 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

As part of this inspection we spoke with six people who used the service and nine members of staff.

All the people we spoke with were happy with the care and service provided. One person told us that due to the dentist’s professionalism “they had been able to relax in the chair for the first time in years”. Another stated “it’s great, no problems”.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Staff were aware of the importance of infection control.

We found there were some concerns with the recruitment and selection processes in place to ensure that staff were suitable to work in this environment.

The provider had a clear complaints policy and this was displayed in the reception area.
