12th February 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two people who used the service and they were happy with the service provided. Each person confirmed the dentist checked their medical history and sought their written consent before providing dental treatment.

One person said. "The staff are friendly and helpful and I would recommend this service to anyone."

We saw that the service had carried out a survey to find out what people thought which had produced favourable results. The provider ensured staff kept their professional learning and development up to date so they had the necessary skills for their job role. There was guidance in place for staff to follow should they identify concerns about the well-being and, or safety of people using the service. There was a complaints policy in place should the service fall short of the expected standard. The provider had robust systems in place for recruitment of new staff to ensure only suitable staff were employed. There were good infection control procedures in place to ensure people’s safety.
