14th May 2013 - During a routine inspection

We spoke with two patients. They told us that the dental practice was “quite good” and that staff were friendly, efficient and prompt. One patient told us that they were seen “on the dot.” We saw surveys recently completed by patients which all rated their experiences as very positive. We saw evidence that the provider treated patients in line with their individual care plans, asked for their consent, and had a system in place to keep patients safe.

We saw that the provider had an adequate system in place to prevent cross-infection. We saw that the practice was clean. Staff were supported and well-trained. The provider had an adequate system in place to monitor the quality of the service, including a number of audits and internal reviews.
