People who use the service understood the care and treatment choices available to them. We spoke with two patients who attended the practice. They told us that they thought the service they received was "good." They said they were given clear explanations about the treatment they required. One person said "When I received treatment, they were very understanding and sympathetic. My dentist was clear about what treatment was required and gave me different options including information about the cost."

Patients who used the service told us that they were happy with the treatment and service they received from the dental practice. We spoke with two patients who told us that they had used the service for over eight years. One person said "I have been to many different dental surgeries but this one is the best so far."

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. We saw a recent survey completed by patients who used the dental practice. Feedback was very positive showing patients were satisfied with the level of cleanliness and hygiene.

Staff received appropriate professional development. Dental staff told us that they were trained in basic life support. We saw records that confirmed this. People we spoke with told us that they were pleased with the service they received and that they had no reason to make a compliant.
