14th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

All of the patients we spoke with told us they were treated with dignity and respect at this practice.

Patients told us and saw records that shoed that patients had the information they needed so that they were able to give their informed consent to their treatment.

We found the provider organised regular emergency team training so that staff knew how to respond to a medical emergency

We saw that the premises were clean and all of the patients we spoke with told us that the surgery was always clean.

We found decontamination of dental instruments to be in line with guidance to reduce the risk of cross infection.

Two members of staff advised us the provider fully supported their professional development so that they had the skills and knowledge they needed to meet patient’s needs.

We found the clinical records were maintained in line with current best practice.

We found all records for the maintenance of the equipment in the premises . This meant that the equipment was well maintained and safe to use.
