Six people completed a questionnaire about the service on the day of the inspection and we also spoke with three of these people about their experience of the service provided. People we spoke with said “I have come here for many years, the dentist is very helpful." People also commented “Great practice, highly recommend it, excellent service.”

We found that people had been provided with information about both the service and their individual care. People felt involved in decisions about their treatment.

People had been provided with treatment plans that provided a clear explanation of the treatment that was to be provided. People’s care and welfare had been taken into account when their treatment was provided.

The practice was clean and there were policies and processes in place to ensure that the risk of infection had been managed.

We found that there were recruitment processes in place and that checks had been made upon staff prior to their employment.

The views of people had been sought and the provider had completed regular audits.
