5th August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients we spoke with told us they were very satisfied with the care and treatment provided. Comments included; “The service is very good” and “The staff are friendly and there are no problems getting an appointment.”

Patients told us their treatment was explained to them including any costs involved before the treatment commenced.

The practice had up to date ‘child protection’ and ‘safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures to support staff to identify signs of abuse and take appropriate actions.

Staff we spoke with were knowledgeable about infection control procedures and the importance of maintaining the level of cleanliness required.

The practice had a system of appraisal to monitor staff performance and to support staff to carry out their work.

The practice was carrying out a patient survey to seek patients’ views. We saw the results for the questionnaires that had been completed so far which showed a high level of satisfaction with the service.
