There were systems in place for obtaining a person's consent. We looked at three files for people who used the service. We saw that all three had verbal consent recorded.

People's treatment plans were completed consistently and included a review of their medical history. People we spoke with were happy with the treatment they received. One person told us, "I can't praise them enough."

We saw that staff had received training in relation to safeguarding adults and children from abuse. Staff we spoke with were familiar with the process they should take if they had concerns that a person was at risk of abuse.

The service had systems in place for maintaining and promoting infection control. Staff we spoke with were clear on their roles in relation to cleanliness.

We looked at the service's complaints policy and saw that all complaints had been managed in accordance with the policy.
