We spoke with five people who were using the service at the time of our visit. They were satisfied with the quality of care provided by the practice. One person commented “I am never kept waiting. They always see you on time.” Another person said “I have recommended this practice. I find the staff highly professional.” One person told us “They always explain what needs to be done, so that I understand. They tell me how much the treatment will cost.”

People told us they felt the practice gave them sufficient information about various treatments to inform their decisions. People told us staff explained the risk and benefits of various treatments and provided details of the expected outcome.

The records showed us consent was sought from people appropriately before any treatment began. People's medical and dental health needs were accurately documented and updated at each visit.

We saw the practice was clean and hygienic and the staff followed appropriate infection control policies and procedures when carrying out treatment of patients.

Staff told us they felt well supported by management and were offered appropriate training at regular intervals. We saw staff were appraised annually and attended regular team meetings that informed them of new policies, procedures and ways of working.
