25th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with five people who used the service. People were very complimentary about the care and treatment they received. Comments included, "They are very friendly and helpful" and, "They always put me at ease".

People told us they were always treated with respect and given the appropriate information about the treatment they had received. They told us the dental staff always discussed their treatment plan with them and involved them in making decisions about their treatment.

People received their treatment in a clean, hygienic environment. The practice had suitable arrangements in place to ensure people were not placed at risk of cross infection.

Staff told us they were provided with good opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge and to meet the requirement of their professional registration.

Although people we spoke with were not aware of how to complain, they told us they were confident any concerns raised would be listened to and addressed.
