Patients spoke positively about the staff and practice. One patient said "I can’t speak highly enough about everyone. It’s very friendly and family orientated".

We observed a patient during their consultation with the Registered Dentist. We saw that the dentist's approach was person centred. They explained all the available treatment options and associated risks including options to not do anything. The treatment option was then decided by the patient.

We also saw documents which confirmed that the provider held checks with the disclosure and barring service (DBS) for the Registered Dentist. However we did not find checks had been completed for other staff employed by the provider.

We observed that staff followed good infection control and hygiene practices throughout consultation. One patient told us "It is always absolutely spotless".

We looked at the last three patient surveys. Most people had said they thought the service provided was above average or excellent. Comments included “All staff are helpful and pleasant” and “I have complete confidence”.
