13th August 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made
We did not speak with any people who use the service as part of the inspection.
29th January 2013 - During a routine inspection
During the visit, we spoke with one person who used the service. They told us the treatment options were clearly explained to them and they were asked for written consent for treatment during each visit. The person we spoke with told us they were happy with the services they received. They told us they did not have any problems getting an appointment and at a time that suited them and were confident they would be seen the same day if they needed an emergency appointment. The person we spoke with told us the treatment room was clean and tidy and they did not have any concerns about the cleanliness of the premises or the dental equipment and instruments. They told us the staff acted professionally and were clear at explaining the risks and benefits of specific dental procedures to them. They also told us they had no concerns about the services they received and would speak to the dentist if they had any concerns.
