2nd August 2011 - During a routine inspection

At the time of the inspection no one was receiving a direct service from Parkgate Nursing Agency, so we were unable to speak to anyone using the service.

Parkgate Nursing Agency only had one person that its staff were providing care to. The person’s care and the two nurses providing it were under the direct instruction and supervision of the council, so the agency itself was not involved in the provision of care or the supervision of the nurses. This had been the case for sometime so it was not possible to assess the quality of care and support provided by the agency.
