7th August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three people at Plastic Surgery W1 and reviewed the report of the patient feedback from 2012. People were very satisfied with the care and treatment they had received. One said the care was “fantastic” and another “could not recommend it too highly”. They valued the continuity of care from the surgeon and small team of nurses and administrators. People's feedback about their satisfaction with the service was 100% positive.

Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. People said they had enough information to consent to treatment. People’s needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual treatment plan.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection and the clinic was clean on the day of inspection. There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people’s needs. People were made aware of the complaints system and said they would talk with staff if they had a concern or query.

People we spoke with were very satisfied with the service at Plastic Surgery W1 Limited. They told us that they had had more than enough information prior to their surgery and felt that they could always ask more questions as they progressed through the treatment. People told us that they had been treated with dignity and respect and their views were taken into account when planning treatments. They could also raise a concern if they had one.

We saw evidence from the 2010 summary of patient feedback that demonstrated a very high level of satisfaction with the service.
