We found that people were given the necessary time and information in order for them to make a decision. People gave verbal consent to treatment and they also signed their plans of treatment.

People were given personalised treatment plans that outlined the plan of treatment along with the potential risks and benefits. There was procedures and equipment in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies. On person said of their dentist, "We’re friends now. I would recommend them."

The service was clean and well maintained. Staff demonstrated a good knowledge of infection control and there were processes and procedures in place to reduce the risk of infection.

Staff had access to training and supervision. We saw that staff meetings were held regularly and that all staff could add agenda items.

The provider undertook audits and sought the views of people who use the service. We saw that where concerns were raised, there were systems in place to address them.
