11th February 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients told us they were satisfied with the care being provided. They said they were encouraged to participate in making decisions relating to their care and treatment.

We found that individual treatment plans were in place to make sure patients were receiving the care they needed. Patients told us they felt involved in their care and their wishes were respected.

The equipment at the clinic was well maintained and records showed that appropriate safety checks had taken place to ensure the safety of patients who used it and staff who operated it.

We found that staff had the right skills, knowledge and training to be able to treat patients appropriately. Clinical staff were registered with the appropriate professional body and we saw evidence that they maintained their professional development.

The provider had processes and procedures in place to monitor the quality of service provision.

5th December 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People who spoke with us told us that they were very happy with the treatment that they had received at the clinic. They felt that they had been given ample information and confirmed that they had been asked to sign their consent to receiving the treatment.

There were effective recruitment procedures in place to ensure that the staff had the appropriate skills and experience to carry out their roles. Staff confirmed that they received ongoing supervision and training.

There were appropriate procedures in place for managing complaints and for ensuring the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
