20th July 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three patients. All of these were positive about the quality of dental service they received. They told us the dentist was unhurried and they were able to ask any questions they had regarding their dental treatment. They told us they were always asked for their consent before dental treatment was carried out. Patients told us their privacy and dignity was respected by all the staff.

Patients told us they were "very happy" with the way the dentist treated them. They told us the dentist and staff were easy to talk to. Patients told us they had been provided with information about their treatment. They told us they had been using the dental clinic for many years because they "were satisfied" with the service they were receiving.

Patients told us that when they attended the dental practice they found it was always clean and tidy. We noted that all areas of the practice were clean and tidy on the day of our inspection.

Patients felt staff were competent, polite and respectful. They told us staff were “very thorough” and good listeners.
