7th May 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke to four patients who received treatment and observed two people during their treatment. The patients we spoke with told us that the staff at the practice always gained consent from them before any treatment was given.

One patient told us that the staff were “Near excellent” whilst another told us that the “Staff are ultra patient.”

We saw that patients were spoken to in a kind and considerate manner. We looked at treatment records and saw that patients were asked about their overall health at each appointment they attended. We also observed this during our visit.

We found that staff were trained to identify different forms of abuse against vulnerable adults and knew who to contact if they had any concerns. Patients told us that they felt safe at the practice.

The practice had systems in place to log any complaints that they received. All of the patients we spoke with told us that they had never felt the need to complain but if they did they would know who to speak with.
