We saw some of the comments cards that people had completed recently and they recorded mainly very positive comments. These included "always very friendly and reassuring", "no concerns - very good practice", "It's superb". The practice manager told us that comments people had made were discussed at staff meetings.

People who we spoke with in the waiting room told us:

"The surgery is bright and cheerful and everyone is very friendly. The dentist explains what needs to be done and what the cost will be."

"This is the most friendly dental practice I have ever been to and provides a very good service. I receive a text reminder for my appointment, which is great. I am very happy with the treatment I have had."

We observed that people were given a written copy of their treatment plan along with an estimate of any cost involved. Information leaflets were printed out for people to explain their treatment and video presentations were also available to help the dentist to explain procedures.
