3rd October 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People said they received safe and effective orthodontic dental treatment from the service. The dentist maintained a record of people's assessed needs and their treatment plan. People received written information about how their individual needs would be assessed and how treatment would be carried out. They were positive about their course of treatment and its outcome. A person said "the results have been wonderful. We have had excellent explanations about the treatment as it progressed."

Young people who used the service told us they were treated with respect. One young person said "the staff are very friendly and polite to me and answer any questions I have." The premises were suitable and well maintained. Regular checks and audits of infection control procedures were carried out by staff to ensure people were protected from the risks of cross-infection. The provider had taken steps to safeguard young people from the risk of abuse.
