28th February 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Three patients told us that that they understood the treatment they were offered and advised us they had been given written treatment plans. We found written evidence of consent to treatment, and evidence that the patients were provided with a series of treatment options, and the cost of each treatment option.

We found patient’s needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. The provider told us that every new patient completed and signed a paper medical history questionnaire before their treatment was started.

We found the practice complied with guidance on colour coding equipment for cleaning the premises, and that the practice had in place guidelines and protocols for the cleaning staff.

The correct procedure for decontamination was followed in accordance with HTM0105.

People's personal records including medical records were accurate and fit for purpose.
