31st October 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients who used the service told us they were satisfied with the service they received. We found that staff took time to explain the treatment options available and supported people to make choices. Patients told us that they were involved in the planning of their care before any treatment took place and their wishes respected.

We found the surgery to be clean and tidy with a good standard of hygiene. There was a system in place for infection control to protect patients from the risk of infection.

Staff recruitment records showed that new staff had been thoroughly checked to make sure they were suitable to work with vulnerable people. Patients told us they did not have any complaints but would not hesitate to speak to the manger or staff if they had any concerns.
