21st March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with five patients, three doctors, two staff and the manager from Sevenoaks Medical Centre. In addition, following the visit, we spoke with two members of staff at HCA International Limited.

All the patients we spoke with were positive about the care and treatment they received. They all said that the staff were helpful and efficient, and that they had not experienced any delays in getting appointments, or when they visited the medical centre.

Staff and the doctors we spoke with told us that the facilities were good. We found that patients felt well informed and involved in their care and treatment.

There were checks and processes in place that ensured staff had relevant qualifications, skills and experience. We found systems and processes in place to manage medicines.

We talked with two people receiving services. They both spoke positively about the centre arrangements, the clinical treatment they received, the facilities, and the staff.

One person said that the venue saved them the trouble of going into London.

Both people said that they did not like the company policy of completing a registration form at each visit.
