17th December 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We were unable to speak with people using the service as none were booked to attend at the time of the inspection. We have therefore looked at 15 people's written feedback to the provider to assist us in making our judgements. People had rated their experiences of care as 'very good'. Their comments included statements such as "Very impressive service" and "Excellent".

People were provided with sufficient information to make an informed decision about their treatment. They were given an explanation of the treatment options available to them during their consultation, and this was followed-up with a detailed written treatment plan including the associated costs.

People received care and treatment that ensured their safety and welfare from staff who received appropriate professional development. There was emergency equipment available and staff had attended training annually. There were systems in place to reduce the spread of infection and we saw reusable instruments were sterilized in accordance with recommended guidelines.
