7th May 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

One patient who used the service told us: "I been coming here for years, I have complete confidence in them. For example, I rang up this morning as I had lost a filling over the weekend. Anyway they made an appointment for me this morning and fixed it. You can't get better than that".

Another patient told us: "I've just had some treatment. Three or four options were all explained to me clearly and in detail. If I was unsure of anything I would have asked further questions".

One patient told us: "They are very caring here, while I'm undergoing treatment, the dentist tells me exactly what is happening and constantly checks I'm ok".

We found that appropriate policies and procedures were in place that ensured that reusable instruments were cleaned and sterilised by systems that followed professional guidance.

A member of staff said "It is very good here, we are encouraged and allowed to go on regular training courses. I feel my own development is fully supported by the practice".

We found the practice had a robust and effective system in place to monitor the quality of the service provided.
