24th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People who used this dental practice told us that they were pleased with the quality of the service provided. For example one person told us “very, very good. They are kind and patient.” Another said “I am really happy with the practice. The team are professional and friendly and are very good with my children.” People felt that they were treated with respect and that treatments were clearly explained to them. One person said “they explain everything properly and will answer any questions. It’s never rushed.”

Staff received the training and support needed to provide a safe and appropriate service that met people’s care and welfare needs. They were aware of their responsibility with regard to safeguarding any children or vulnerable adults who used the service.

We found that people were treated in a safe, clean and hygienic environment and that suitable arrangements were in place for cleaning and sterilising dental equipment. People told us that they were happy with the cleanliness of the practice. One person said “it’s clean and spotless. The hygiene seems good.”

People’s records were accurate and up to date and provided information about the advice and treatment they had received.
