People received care and treatment that ensured their safety and welfare from suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. There were arrangements in place to deal with an emergency. People were always examined and treated by the orthodontist and if general dental work was required, they were referred to a dentist. We spoke with two parents of children who were using the service and looked at eight feedback questionnaires. People were satisfied with the service, describing it as "efficient" and "flexible". They had been given sufficient information and felt able to ask the orthodontist any questions without feeling rushed.

People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment and the provider monitored the quality of service people received. There were effective decontamination procedures in place, as well as cleaning checklists and regular audits to ensure people were protected from the risk of infection. The provider collected feedback from people and held regular practice meetings to ensure key messages were disseminated to staff.
