6th December 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three people during our visit. They were pleased with the service and treatment they had received. One said, “They’re ever so friendly”. Another told us, “I used to be very nervous but I’ve been alright since I’ve been coming here.” The third explained, “I’ve moved from the area but I still travel back”. In a patient feedback survey we read, ‘First class service, thank you all’.

We spoke with the provider and four members of staff. They told us that they enjoyed working at the practice. One said, “It’s a lovely environment to work in”. Another told us, “Most new patients come here through word of mouth, that’s a real compliment”.

We found that the practice was very welcoming. People were offered choices about the treatment that they received and were cared for in a safe and clean environment. Staff had made the waiting areas inviting. There was a range of reading material including recent magazines and a daily paper. They had been decorated for the Christmas season. We observed staff interacting with people in a kind and cheerful manner.
