3rd December 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We conducted a short notice inspection on 3 December 2012. We spoke with the dentists and several members of the staff, including the practice manager and the Infection Prevention and Control nurse. Observation of how patients were being treated at reception, was seen to be done in a friendly and welcoming manner and throughout the practice in general. The registered manager showed us how the practice worked and we looked at patient records, policies and procedures and records associated with how the registered manager ensured the quality of the service.

We also looked at patient feedback gathered through questionnaires and comment forms. These showed a number of positive comments which overall demonstrated that people were satisfied with the treatment they received.

People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
