26th February 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with patient's who used the service, staff and a consultant. People told us that they were happy with the service they received. One person told us “The consultant was excellent; very sensitive and reassuring”. Another person told us, "Very professional. They answered any question I had".

We saw that the service had a Whistle Blowing Policy. Staff we spoke with were aware of this policy. They told us that they felt confident in raising any concerns. One person we spoke with told us “Yes, I wouldn’t have any problem reporting anything”.

We looked at the results of the most recent survey and found that 96% of people were satisfied with the service they had received. Comments included “Very helpful and extremely kind and knowledgeable” and “Everything explained in detail”.
