On arrival we found the building was spacious, clean, tidy and well presented. We observed patients being welcomed in a friendly and approachable manner. People told us that they were very happy with the way in which they were treated. They said staff respected them and treated them well. Comments included; "The dentist we use is a master of his trade. He respects us and treats us well."; "This is the best dental practice in the area. We are treated well, treatment options and costs are fully discussed during initial consultation to enable us to make informed choices" and "I travel quite some way to visit this dentist. It is very much worth it as he treats every patient the same whatever their background. People are treated with respect at all times by all the staff of the practice, it's a wonderful place."

Records viewed were detailed and showed that patients had been consulted and given choices about their treatment.

Staff told us they felt well supported and had all the training and information they needed for their role.

We saw evidence of the quality assurance systems that were in place at the service to ensure people received safe, appropriate care, treatment and support. One person told us "I was the most sensitive patient and was afraid of having treatment. This dentist engages in perfect rapport with his patients, makes them feel at ease and provides artful dentistry which is second to none. It's almost a pleasure for me these days to visit the dentist!"
